Newbury Community Resource Centre to pilot scheme as a pathway to employment for people with mental health problems

NCRC RECEIVES SUPPORT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH INNOVATION, EXCELLENCE AND STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT (IESD) FUND.

The Newbury Community Resource Centre is amongst seventy four charities that will get a share of more than £6.8 million to test and develop innovative approaches to improve health and wellbeing, Care Services Minister Paul Burstow announced yesterday.

FRN welcomes European Parliament vote to support establishing a WEEE Reuse Target

The FRN is extremely pleased to see today  (4th October 2011) that the MEPs who make up the European Parliament Environment Council have voted to back the WEEE Directive recast amendments that support the establishment of a reuse target of 5% across the WEEE categories. We hope to see this decision get through the next stages negotiations in January to herald the introduction of the long awaited "reuse target".
