For the first time in the history of the FRN awards, we are putting the decision of who wins of the Re-use Organisation of the Year in your capable hands, dear member of the public!

Why? Because, we believe that the great work our members do must be showcased and recognised nation-wide. The winner will be announced at the Furniture Re-use Network’s Annual Conference Gala Dinner on Wednesday 10th May.

Voting closes on Friday 5th May.

Why Adapting Through Change?

The title of this year's conference is a reference to the turbulent climate furniture re-use organisations are currently operating in. With the threat of Brexit and the disruption that will almost certainly cause, our sector is once again going to have to adapt to both survive and thrive. As the national network we are looking to stay ahead of the curve and are watching the horizon for potential threats and help steer our member's through the choppy waters.

FRN welcomes the EU Waste Frame Directive

Here at the Furniture Re-use Network, we welcome the European Parliament’s environment committee backing several changes to the EU Waste Framework Directive. It is the result of a couple of years’ worth of lobbying and it certainly is a much appreciated vote of support for the reuse and prevention of waste.
